Herbed Cornish Hens

I was so excited to make these when I found them in the grocery store, Cornish Hens. They were so much bigger than I was expecting so there were a ton of left overs, which made some really yummy sandwiches the next day.
First I made an herbed butter rub, with fresh rosemary, and thyme. Just melt it all together and pour it over the hens. They you pop them into the oven for an hour...
So easy but so good!
They came out so juices and delicious! We had them with green beans and potatoes .
They were delicious, just like a mini thanksgiving dinner.

Herb Garden

Hi everyone! I' am an aspiring law student who has recently discovered a passion for cooking- everything from cooking gourmet dinners, baking decadent desserts, to the newest cookbooks and gadget.
This summer to start things off I planted some herbs, including: basil, rosemary, chives, theme, oregano, cilantro, and some roma tomatoes. I'm so excited. They have been doing so well; all that is except my cilantro, who recently took a turn for the worse. My tomatoes are growing so fast it's amazing too. Using the fresh herbs in my cooking has been so much fun and very tasty.

Look my first red tomato, how exciting!!
Williams Sonoma has is really cute herb mill I'm now dyeing to get, to use with all my newly grown herb.
